Broner made his return last June after a lengthy hiatus since early 2021 and has only fought twice since his 2019 loss to Manny Pacquiao. Despite being past his prime, the multi-division titleholder continues to attract attention, even on mid-size shows like this one.

Cobbs last fought in August 2022, securing a win over Maurice Hooker. This victory came after a one-sided loss to Alexis Rocha earlier that year. Known for their colorful personalities, both Broner and Cobbs are expected to bring their usual flair, ensuring the fight catches headlines and attracts viewers.
