Adrien Broner has received an unexpected fight offer from 19-year-old Nigerian prospect Temitope Ademulure.
Ademulure (5-0, 5 KOs), a southpaw super lightweight from Lagos, has publicly called for Broner to travel to Nigeria for a comeback fight. The teenager only turned professional in March 2025, but he has stopped every opponent so far and is already aiming for a much bigger name.
On paper, the matchup looks unlikely. Ademulure has fought all five of his bouts in Nigeria, is ranked far outside the world’s top 400, and competes below Broner’s recent weight range. But the callout has still done its job by bringing attention to his name
Broner has continued to speak about returning to the ring, but much of his recent attention has come from livestreams and social media clips rather than boxing activity. If he is serious about another comeback, the first fight may be outside the ring: proving he is focused enough to make one more run.
