Adrien Broner was reportedly hospitalized with pancreatitis before returning to drinking just hours after leaving hospital, according to his streaming partner DeenTheGreat.
The former four-division world champion was taken away on a stretcher during a livestream. Deen later said Broner had been diagnosed with pancreatitis and warned that continued heavy drinking could have serious consequences.
“If he keeps drinking too much, he’s gonna die,” Deen said.
Despite the health scare, Broner was later seen drinking during another livestream in Atlanta. Deen and Ray J expressed concern over his condition, with footage eventually showing Broner heavily intoxicated and passed out.
The incident comes shortly after the 37-year-old said he planned to stop drinking, regain his fitness and pursue another boxing comeback.
