Adrien Broner has called for a fight with Ryan Garcia, claiming the matchup would generate more money than many of Garcia’s other options.
The former four-division world champion addressed Garcia in a social media video and said he is ready to challenge for the WBC welterweight title.
“I want to fight you,” Broner said. “We can fight next. You ain’t going to get as much money as you will fighting me. I’ll take your belt.”
Broner also compared their careers, pointing to Garcia’s stoppage defeat while emphasizing that he has never been stopped.
“You got knocked out. You got stopped,” Broner said. “I ain’t never got stopped, no matter who I fought.”
The 36-year-old then made the callout personal, saying Garcia had previously relied on him during difficult moments but had not shown the same support in return.
Broner has not fought since defeating Blair Cobbs by unanimous decision in June 2025. Garcia has not responded to the challenge, and it remains unclear whether the fight is a realistic option.
