Ben Whittaker will face Conor Wallace on October 3 at Utilita Arena in Birmingham in an IBF light heavyweight final eliminator.
Whittaker returns after stopping Richard Rivera in the second round at Barclays Center in June. The 2020 Olympic silver medalist is currently ranked No. 3 by the IBF, No. 2 by the WBC and No. 8 by the WBO.

Wallace, a 30-year-old southpaw from Australia, is ranked No. 2 by the IBF and No. 5 by the WBO. His best win came in August 2024, when he edged Jerome Pampellone by split decision. He has since added victories over Asemahle Wellem, Dylan Colin and Walter Gabriel Sequeira, whom he stopped in April 2026.
The winner will become the mandatory challenger for Dmitry Bivol’s IBF light heavyweight title. For Whittaker, the fight represents a significant step toward his first world title opportunity, while Wallace enters with a chance to disrupt the highly touted prospect’s rise and claim his own position at the top of the division.
