The explosive finish capped a sharp start from Whittaker, who fed off the energy of a vocal home crowd before celebrating emphatically after the stoppage. Suarez was unable to recover from the knockdown, bringing a swift end to the main event.

On the undercard, Joe McGrail remained unbeaten with a fifth-round TKO over Aaron Hayden, dominating throughout before a body shot knockdown ended the contest. Jack Power also impressed, stopping Novak Radulović in the sixth round after breaking him down with sustained pressure.
Elsewhere, Molly McCann secured a unanimous decision win over Ashleigh Johnson in an entertaining eight-round contest, while Leo Atang went the distance for the first time to outpoint Viktar Chvarkou. Stephen Clarke and Tom Rafferty both maintained their unbeaten records with convincing victories, and Sam Norris opened the card with a clear decision win.
