Callum “King” Walsh (8-0, 7 KOs) is set to make his New York debut at the iconic The Theater at Madison Square Garden, where he will be defending his WBC US Silver super welterweight title against Ismael Villarreal (13-1, 9 KOs) on UFC Fight Pass, marking its first boxing event at The Garden.

Walsh, the IBF champion from Cork, Ireland, expressed his excitement about fighting at the renowned venue, especially ahead of UFC 295. He recently secured a victory with a fourth-round stoppage against Juan Jose Velasco in Los Angeles.

Walsh’s upcoming fight is not just a personal milestone but also a testament to his talent and dedication, as noted by his Hall of Fame trainer, Freddie Roach. Despite it being only his ninth professional fight, Walsh is headlining the event.
