Zuffa Boxing is set to expand its global reach with a planned event in Ireland later this year, according to Callum Walsh and Dana White.
Walsh confirmed the plans while attending a UFC event in London alongside White. Both indicated that Ireland is firmly on the promotional roadmap for 2026.
The move comes as Zuffa strengthens its broadcasting presence, adding Sky Sports as a partner. The agreement will see Sky air five Zuffa-promoted fight nights per year, with Ireland potentially hosting one of those events.
Walsh, a southpaw from Cobh, has spent most of his professional career fighting in the United States but has previously boxed in Dublin. On that occasion, he defeated Przemyslaw Runowski in the main event at the 3Arena.
