Zuffa Boxing officially entered the sport on Thursday night, staging its debut event at the UFC Apex and streaming live on Paramount+.

In the main event, Callum Walsh went ten rounds with Carlos Ocampo in a controlled performance. Walsh set the pace early with footwork and clean punching, boxing comfortably at range and limiting Ocampo’s ability to close distance. As the fight progressed, the pattern remained consistent, with Walsh dictating tempo and picking his moments while Ocampo stayed durable but struggled to build sustained offense, leading to a clear unanimous decision.

The co-main event ended abruptly when Misael Rodriguez Olivas faced Austin Deanda at middleweight. Rodriguez Olivas steadily broke Deanda down with uppercuts and short combinations, forcing exchanges that took a visible toll. After Deanda reported double vision following the fourth round, a ringside physician ruled him unable to continue, resulting in a medical stoppage before the fifth.

At welterweight, Julian Rodriguez handed unbeaten Cain Sandoval his first loss over ten rounds. Rodriguez relied on sharp counterpunching and ring control to separate himself, gradually taking command of the fight and limiting Sandoval’s effectiveness down the stretch on the way to a wide unanimous decision.

One of the night’s more dramatic bouts saw unbeaten Omar Trinidad battle Max Ornelas until a right-shoulder injury forced the stoppage late in the tenth round. Trinidad scored multiple knockdowns early and kept pressure on throughout, while Ornelas showed resilience and fought back through adversity before the recurring injury ultimately ended the contest.

Earlier on the card, Troy Nash made history as the first winner in Zuffa Boxing history, outboxing Jaycob Ramos over six rounds. Nash used superior movement and ring IQ to neutralize Ramos’ offense, controlling the exchanges and securing a unanimous decision to open the promotion’s new chapter.
