Irish sensation King’ Callum Walsh (6-0, 5 KOs) is set to face the battle-hardened American veteran Carson Jones (43-15-3, 31 KOs) in the upcoming “Hollywood Fight Nights” series at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, CA, on UFC Fight Pass.

Tom Loeffler, the promoter, has high expectations for this bout, stating, “Callum continues to show in each fight that he has both the capability of becoming not only a world champion but also one of the biggest stars in the sport.”
Walsh, under the expert guidance of Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, recently wowed a passionate Boston Irish boxing crowd on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day. The 22-year-old southpaw demonstrated his skills by knocking out Wesley Tucker in the second round at the Agganis Arena. Eager to take on Jones, Walsh stated, “Boston was a tremendous experience, but now it's time to prepare for another great performance in my second home, Los Angeles, California.”
Carson Jones, meanwhile, enters the ring on a three-fight winning streak, fresh off a dominant victory over Dedrick Bell on March 18, 2023. With a history of facing world champions and top contenders, such as Kell Brook, Antonio Margarito, Steven Butler, Jesus Soto Karass, and Ricardo Williams Jr., Jones is confident in his chances. He exclaimed, “I feel really good about this fight, and I'm definitely coming for the upset. I believe my experience will be the deciding factor. I need to make it a rough and tough dogfight, and then I’ll be too much for him.”
In the co-feature, undefeated Umar Dzambekov (4-0, 3 KOs) faces Dodzi Kemeh, (25-2, 23 KOs) in the eight-round light heavyweight clash.
