Errol Spence Jr. returns to the ring on July 25, ending a three-year absence when he faces Tim Tszyu in Australia.
The bout will headline a PBC pay-per-view event on Prime, with the venue yet to be finalized. Originally targeted for early June, the fight was pushed back to late July as plans for Spence’s comeback took shape.
Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) has not fought since July 2023, when he was stopped by Terence Crawford in their undisputed welterweight title fight. The loss, which saw Spence knocked down three times, led to uncertainty around his future before confirmation earlier this year that he was targeting a return at junior middleweight.
Tszyu (27-3, 18 KOs), a former IBF champion at 154lbs, enters the fight following a mixed run of results. After losing three of four bouts to Sebastian Fundora and Bakhram Murtazaliev, he has since rebounded with back-to-back wins over Anthony Velazquez and Denis Nurja.

The matchup presents a clear crossroads moment for both fighters. Spence, now 36, looks to prove he remains a force after time away, while Tszyu, 31, aims to show that his recent setbacks do not define his career.
