Tim Tszyu and Errol Spence Jr. headlined a major card at Afterpay Arena in Sydney, with the former unified welterweight champion returning after three years away from the ring. The 12-round middleweight bout topped an event that also featured several unbeaten Australian prospects and a vacant regional light heavyweight title fight.
Tszyu controlled the contest and earned a clear unanimous decision over Spence by scores of 117-111, 118-110, and 117-111. The victory improved Tszyu’s record to (28-3, 18 KOs), while Spence fell to (28-2, 22 KOs) in his first and probably last appearance since his 2023 defeat to Terence Crawford, as Errol mentioned in the interview right after the bout that with this fight he retires from professional boxing.
