Lamont Roach Jr. and William Zepeda will meet on August 1 at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, with the vacant WBC lightweight title on the line. The fight headlines the launch of The Fight, a new monthly boxing series from TNT Sports and DAZN.
Roach enters with something to prove after back-to-back draws against Gervonta Davis and Isaac Cruz. He has shown he can compete with elite names, but this is the kind of fight where he can finally turn strong performances into a clear career-defining win.
