Liam Paro will defend his IBF World Super-Lightweight title for the first time against Richardson Hitchins at the Roberto Clemente Coliseo in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Paro, who won the title by dethroning Puerto Rican favorite Subriel Matias earlier this year, is set to shine again on Puerto Rican soil in a night full of action brought by Matchroom Boxing and Universal Promotions, live on DAZN.
Paro has proven himself with wins over top names, including a knockout victory over Montana Love. Now, he’s eager to show once again why he’s a force in the 140-pound division. “All the so-called big guys at 140lbs lost their tongues, so I decided to bring on my mandatory defense early,” said Paro. “I’m coming to shine again in beautiful Puerto Rico!”

Meanwhile, Hitchins, a Brooklyn native, is ready for his first world title shot. The undefeated fighter secured his mandatory position with a dominant performance over Gustavo Lemos and has gained momentum under Eddie Hearn’s guidance. Confident in his skills, Hitchins declared, “This is my division. I am the man at 140, and once I get this belt, everything runs through me.”
