Isaac Dogboe (24-2, 15KOs) squares off against two-time Olympic gold medalist Robeisy Ramirez (11-1, 7KOs) in a featherweight fight sanctioned by the WBO in Tulsa.
Following a ten-round victory over former title challenger Joet Gonzalez in July 2022 in Hinckley, Minnesota, Dogboe—a former WBO junior featherweight champion—advanced to the top of the sanctioning body's featherweight rankings. The 28-year-old Ghanaian boxer's victory was his fourth straight since suffering back-to-back defeats to Navarrete, the first of which ended his hasty reign as the 122-pound titleholder.
Ramirez made a name for himself at featherweight in a strong 2022 campaign.
Two-time Olympic gold medallist for Cuba, who now resides in Gulfport, Florida, knocked out three opponents on the year, including the unbeaten Abraham Nova on June 18 at Madison Square Garden's Hulu Theater in New York City. The victory occurred four months after Ramirez defeated Eric "Not Jake" Donovan in the third round of a Glasgow, Scotland, undercard of the Josh Taylor-Jack Catterall fight on February 26.
In his most recent fight, Ramirez stopped Jose Matias Romero in the ninth round on the undercard of Vasiliy Lomachenko vs. Jamaine Ortiz on October 29 at Hulu Theater. Since suffering a devastating defeat in his pro debut against Adan Gonzalez, which he avenged just eleven months later, the 29-year-old Cuban southpaw has won eleven fights in a row.
