The Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, will be the stage for a thrilling all-Mexican main event as Emanuel "El Vaquero" Navarrete defends his WBO junior lightweight world title against former rival Oscar Valdez. This rematch will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, Sky Sports and ESPN+, with Rafael Espinoza and Robeisy Ramirez also facing off in a co-main event for the WBO featherweight title.
Navarrete claimed a decisive unanimous decision victory over Valdez in their previous clash, with scores of 116-112, 118-110, and 119-109. The Mexican champion’s unorthodox style and sharp combinations proved too much for Valdez to handle over the 12 rounds.

However, Navarrete’s path hasn’t been without challenges. He battled to a draw against Robson Conceicao in an earlier title defense and suffered a split-decision loss to Denys Berinchyk in May while attempting to claim a world title at 135 pounds.
Valdez, a two-division world champion, has had only one fight since their initial meeting. In March, he presented us once again his trademark power with a seventh-round TKO victory over Liam Wilson, proving he’s still a threat at 130 pounds. Having held titles at both featherweight and super featherweight, Valdez remains a formidable contender, hungry to reclaim the throne and settle the score against his countryman.
Both fighters carry significant experience and pride into this rematch, with the all-Mexican rivalry adding an extra layer of excitement for fans. For Navarrete, this fight is about solidifying his dominance in the division. For Valdez, it’s a chance to rewrite history and reclaim the belt.

In the co-main event, Rafael "El Divino" Espinoza (25-0, 21 KOs) defends his WBO featherweight title in a rematch against Cuban star Robeisy Ramirez (14-2, 9 KOs). Their first fight was a thrilling back-and-forth affair, and both men are looking to settle the score once and for all.
The Mexican champion is ready to defend his belt in what promises to be another thrilling rematch. "I’m motivated and training at 100 percent," Espinoza said. "This night of rematches will be great for Mexico, and I’m ready to give it my all, just like I always do." On the other side, Ramirez is equally confident, "I’m coming to erase any doubts. I will reclaim my title" Their rematch could easily steal the show with both fighters known for their offense and willingness to go to war.

The undercard is also stacked, featuring mexican junior welterweight contender Lindolfo Delgado (21-0, 15 KOs) will take on Jackson Marinez (22-3, 10 KOs) in a 10-rounder. Delgado has been on a roll in 2024 and is looking to keep his momentum going. Meanwhile, Marinez has something to prove after tough losses to top names like Rolando Romero and Frank Martin but is on a knockout streak with three straight victories.
Featherweight prospect Albert Gonzalez (11-0, 7 KOs) will take on Argentina's Gerardo Antonio Perez (12-6-1, 3 KOs) in an 8-round contest. Gonzalez seeks to maintain his unbeaten record against the experienced Perez.
