Tenshin Nasukawa will face Juan Francisco Estrada in a WBC bantamweight title eliminator on April 11 at Kokugikan in Tokyo, topping a tripleheader that also features key fights in the lower weight classes.
The fight will be broadcasted on Amzon Prime only for members who are in Japan.
Nasukawa (7-1, 2 KOs) enters the bout following a unanimous decision loss to Takuma Inoue, while Estrada (45-4, 28 KOs) returns after a June win over Karim Arce Lugo, his only outing since losing to Jesse Rodriguez the year prior. The matchup pits a younger, developing contender against an experienced former two-division champion.
In the co-feature, Tomoya Tsuboi (3-0, 2 KOs) takes a step up against veteran Pedro Guevara (43-5-2, 22 KOs) at super flyweight. Tsuboi turned professional just over a year ago and now faces a seasoned opponent whose past defeats have largely come in close decisions against top-level competition.
Another notable bout sees Kyosuke Takami (10-1, 8 KOs) meet Angel Ayala Lardizabal (18-1, 8 KOs). Takami, a former light flyweight titleholder, moves forward after a setback against Rene Santiago, while Ayala looks to rebound from a stoppage loss to Masamichi Yabuki that cost him the IBF title.
