Jason Moloney will look to continue rebuilding his career when he meets Andre Donovan on April 23 at Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane, Australia.
The former WBO bantamweight champion stopped Herlan Gomez in December in the first bout of his promotional agreement with Tasman Fighters. His upcoming clash with Donovan will headline Tasman’s second event with broadcaster Stan, marking another significant platform for the 35-year-old Australian.

Moloney had suffered consecutive defeats before returning to winning ways against Gomez, his first fight on home soil in more than three years. Now, he faces a 29-year-old Donovan who is undefeated in his past 11 contests after losing two of his first three professional fights.
“Andre Donovan’s a quality boxer with a near 70 per cent knockout ratio,” Moloney’s manager Tony Tolj said. “Two come-forward guys who can really bang – it’s going to be an exciting fight. Jason’s a workhorse… He’s not gonna stop until he’s world champion for the second time.”
