Undefeated top contender Frank "The Ghost" Martin is slated to face off against undefeated Olympic bronze medalist Artem Harutyunyan. The exhilarating bout will serve as a WBC Lightweight Title Eliminator and will be showcased as the main event of a thrilling Premier Boxing Champions evening, airing live on Showtime at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Martin, known for his impeccable record and impressive fighting style, has remained unbeaten throughout his career. With his lightning-fast punches and exceptional footwork, he has climbed the ranks to secure the top contender position. Now, he faces his toughest challenge yet in Harutyunyan, an accomplished boxer who claimed the Olympic bronze medal in a display of skill and determination
In the co-main event, top super lightweight contender Elvis Rodriguez (14-1-1, 12 KOs) meets former world champion Viktor Postol (31-4, 12 KOs) in a 10-round showdown. Turning pro in 2018, Rodriguez, also known as “The Dominican Kid”, suffered his first loss in 2021 against Kenneth Sims Jr. However, the 27-year-old rebounded with three consecutive victories, the latest being a majority decision win over Joseph Adorno. On the other hand, Postol, dubbed "The Iceman", turned pro in 2007 and seized the WBC super lightweight title in 2015, only to lose it to Terence Crawford the following year. The Ukrainian’s record since has been less impressive, going 3-3, and currently finds himself on a two-fight losing streak following defeats to Jose Ramirez and Gary Antuanne Russell.
The ten-round telecast opener pits Freudis Rojas (10-0, 10 KOs) against Diego Santiago Sanchez (19-2, 16 KOs) at welterweight.
