Frank Martin has signed a multi-year promotional agreement with Top Rank and will return to the ring this fall.

The former world title challenger is now competing at super lightweight under head trainer Buddy McGirt as he begins the next stage of his career.

“I’m excited to continue my journey under the Top Rank banner,” Martin said. “I want to continue building out my resume, become champion and stamp my legacy.”

Martin turned professional in 2017 and produced notable victories over Romero Duno, Michel Rivera and Artem Harutyunyan before challenging Gervonta Davis in June 2024. After moving up to 140lbs, the 31-year-old stopped former world champion Rances Barthelemy in four rounds last December before fighting Nahir Albright to a draw in February.

Top Rank president Todd duBoef believes Martin is well positioned in a competitive super lightweight division and said the promotion will work toward securing another world title opportunity.
