Las Vegas hosted a packed night of championship boxing, high-stakes matchups, and the return of several division contenders looking to position themselves for major fights later this year.
In the main event, Garcia delivered a composed and sharp performance against Barrios for the WBC welterweight title. Garcia dropped Barrios within the opening 30 seconds with a right hand to the temple and controlled the pace from there, using a fast jab and clean right hands to dictate distance. Barrios showed toughness throughout but struggled to match Garcia’s speed and timing. After twelve rounds, Garcia earned a unanimous decision by scores of 119-108, 120-107, and 118-109 to claim the championship.

In the co-feature, Gary Antuanne Russell defended his WBA super lightweight title with a twelve-round unanimous decision over Andy Hiraoka. Russell applied steady pressure and controlled exchanges with power shots, while Hiraoka had a point deducted in the tenth round for low blows. The judges scored the bout 117-110, 116-111, and 116-111 in favor of Russell.

At super lightweight, Frank Martin and Nahir Albright fought to a ten-round draw in a competitive contest. Both fighters had moments throughout the fight, trading control in the middle rounds before the judges returned identical scorecards of 95-95.

Earlier on the main card, Bektemir Melikuziev stopped Sena Agbeko in the seventh round of their super middleweight bout. Melikuziev gradually broke Agbeko down with consistent pressure and power punching before the referee stepped in at 2:58 of the round.
Opening the broadcast, Amari Jones scored a fourth-round TKO over Luis Arias at middleweight. Jones dropped Arias with a left hook and maintained control until Arias retired on his stool before the fifth round.
