Takuma Inoue will defend his WBC bantamweight title against Tenshin Nasukawa in a rematch on September 27 at Toyota Arena Tokyo.
The 12-round fight will headline Prime Video Boxing 16 and stream exclusively on Prime Video in Japan.
Inoue defeated Nasukawa by unanimous decision for the vacant WBC title at the same venue in November 2025. After a fast start from Nasukawa, Inoue took control through his pressure, timing and work at close range to win by scores of 117-111 and 116-112 twice.

Nasukawa earned mandatory-challenger status by defeating former two-division world champion Juan Francisco Estrada in April, while Inoue made his first title defense against Kazuto Ioka in May.
The rematch gives Nasukawa another opportunity to win his first boxing world title after beginning his professional career with seven consecutive victories. Inoue, meanwhile, will look to strengthen his position as WBC champion and record a second victory over his domestic rival.
