IBF super middleweight champion Osleys Iglesias will defend his title against unbeaten Oliver Zaren on October 8 at the Capitole in Quebec City.
Iglesias won the vacant IBF belt by stopping Pavel Silyagin in April. He now faces Danish southpaw Zaren, who is trained by Mikkel Kessler and ranked No. 5 by the IBF.

“Osleys Iglesias is strong, tall, powerful, and I know he scares even the world’s elite - but not me,” Zaren said. “I will come as a conqueror.”
The co-feature will see unbeaten Wilkens Mathieu (16-0, 11 KOs) defend his NABF super middleweight title against former world-title challenger Vladimir Shishkin (17-2, 11 KOs). Mathieu hopes a victory can move him directly toward his own world-title opportunity.
The card will also feature Imam Khataev (12-1, 11 KOs) against Padraig McCrory (20-2, 10 KOs), while unbeaten Dzmitry Asanau (13-0, 7 KOs) faces fellow unbeaten fighter Luis Santana (16-0, 7 KOs). Leïla Beaudoin (15-2, 2 KOs) is also scheduled to make the first defence of her interim WBA title.
Eye of the Tiger says the event will feature nine fights with nine titles on the line, including three world championships.
