Reina Tellez

Reina Tellez (born May 4, 2003, in Vero Beach, Florida) is an American professional boxer who competes in the super bantamweight and featherweight divisions. Raised in Fellsmere, Florida, and now based in San Antonio, Texas, Tellez began boxing in 2012 and developed under the guidance of her father and coach, Martin Tellez, at Ramos Boxing Gym. Known for her discipline and technical fundamentals, she turned professional in 2021 and quickly established herself as one of the most promising young fighters in women’s boxing.

Before turning professional, Tellez built an outstanding amateur résumé. She was a multiple-time USA Boxing national champion, winning gold medals at the National Junior Olympics, National Golden Gloves, Junior Open Championships, and both the Eastern and Western Regional Opens. Between 2015 and 2019, she consistently medaled at elite national tournaments, while also earning international experience with a bronze medal at the 2019 Silesian Women’s Championships. Her amateur success laid the foundation for a smooth transition into the professional ranks.

As a professional, Tellez has compiled a great record, steadily progressing through the North American scene. In 2024, she captured both the vacant NABF Bantamweight and NABF Super Bantamweight titles, demonstrating her ability to perform across multiple weight classes. Her 2025 campaign included two dominant eight-round decision victories, further showcasing her stamina, ring IQ, and consistency against experienced opposition.
