Pavel Silyagin

Pavel Silyagin (born 13 August 1993 in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia) is a Russian professional boxer competing in the super-middleweight division. An orthodox stylist standing 6 ft 1 in (185 cm), Silyagin is known for his technical discipline, sharp jab and composed ring control. He previously held the WBC Silver super-middleweight title and has consistently been rated among the top contenders in the division.

Silyagin turned professional in February 2020 and quickly established himself as one of Russia’s brightest prospects. Within just over a year, he captured the WBC Silver super-middleweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Azizbek Abdugofurov in March 2021. He successfully defended the belt against experienced former world title challenger Isaac Chilemba later that year, proving his ability to compete over twelve rounds against seasoned opposition.

Between 2022 and 2025, Silyagin continued to build his résumé with a blend of knockout victories and measured decision wins. Highlights of this period include stoppages over Nizar Trimech and Rizvan Elikhanov, as well as a competitive split draw against Evgeny Shvedenko in 2023. In September 2024, he claimed the vacant IBF Inter-Continental super-middleweight title with a unanimous decision over Ulugbek Sobirov, further strengthening his standing in the world rankings.

By July 2025, Silyagin had compiled an unbeaten record of 16 wins and 1 draw, most recently defeating Pablo Exequiel Corzo by unanimous decision in Ekaterinburg. With his steady progression, championship experience, and high ranking among active super-middleweights, Silyagin remains positioned as a serious contender on the international stage.
