Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) and Vasiliy Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) are squaring off in a showdown in Las Vegas, where they vie for the undisputed lightweight championship. The bout, which will see Haney defending his four 135-pound titles, is set to be on ESPN+ PPV at $59.99.

Haney secured the undisputed championship in June of 2022, defeating George Kambosos in Australia with a resounding points victory. He then returned to his opponent's homeland for a rematch in October, emerging victorious once more in a one-sided affair.

Lomachenko had been slated for a bout with Kambosos before the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Opting to stay in Ukraine instead of traveling to Australia for the bout, the opportunity ultimately fell into Haney’s lap.

Hailing from Las Vegas, Haney holds the distinction of being ESPN's top-ranked lightweight and the number nine boxer in the pound-for-pound category. Meanwhile, Lomachenko sits as ESPN's second-best fighter at 135 pounds and was once widely regarded as the pound-for-pound champion before his stunning defeat to Teofimo Lopez in 2020.

At 35 years old, Lomachenko boasts an impressive resume as a former three-division titleholder and a double Olympic gold medalist. In a more challenging than anticipated bout, he triumphed over Jamaine Ortiz in October of 2022, securing a unanimous decision victory.
