Keyshawn Davis will face Nahir Albright in a highly anticipated rematch on May 16 at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, headlining Top Rank’s first event on DAZN. The 12-round super lightweight clash brings closure to a rivalry that began in October 2023, when Davis’ majority decision win was later overturned, leaving unfinished business between the two.
Davis, a former world champion and Olympic silver medalist, returns home looking to reassert himself after a turbulent period. He won the WBO lightweight title in February 2025 by stopping Denys Berinchyk but later missed weight for a planned defense. He rebounded in January with a statement win over Jamaine Ortiz and now looks to deliver in front of his hometown crowd. “Norfolk! I’m coming home with a purpose… you’re going to see the best version of Keyshawn Davis,” he said.
Albright, has built momentum since their first meeting, earning notable results including a win over Kelvin Davis and a draw with Frank Martin. The Philadelphia fighter remains confident heading into the rematch. “All my life I have been an overcomer… This fight is another obstacle to jump over. I’m ready and grateful,” he said.
Promoter Todd duBoef highlighted the intensity surrounding the rematch, stating that “everything that’s happened since has only intensified the stakes,” while DAZN executive Jared Kass described it as “unfinished business, genuine rivalry and elite-level boxing on a major stage.”

The co-main event will see Brian Norman Jr. (28-1, 22 KOs) take on Josh Wagner (19-2, 10 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight bout, as Norman looks to bounce back from losing his title to Devin Haney and will will fight for the first time in his career without his father in the corner.
For the first time as a pro, Norman is working with Ronnie Shields. The move to Shields could be important for a fighter known for power and aggression. Shields has a reputation for tightening fighters technically, and Norman now has the chance to show whether that new guidance can bring more control to his style.
“The God of War is back,” Norman said. “I stayed patient. I stayed working. And now it’s time to remind the world.”

In the undercard, Kelvin Davis returns to the ring, looking to rebound from the first defeat of his professional career when he faces Peter Dobson in a 10-round welterweight bout at Scope Arena.
Davis (15-1, 8 KOs), the older brother of Keyshawn Davis, has not fought since last June’s majority decision loss to Nahir Albright. After rallying late in that fight and leaving one scorecard even, the 29-year-old now moves up to welterweight for a homecoming test.
Dobson (17-3, 10 KOs), a 35-year-old from the Bronx, brings experience against notable opposition. He has shared the ring with Conor Benn and then-unbeaten Jakil Hacket, giving Davis a veteran opponent as he looks to restart his momentum.
Also added to the card, Yan Santana faces Cristian Cruz Chacon in a 10-round featherweight bout. Santana (16-0, 13 KOs) remains unbeaten and will try to become the first fighter to stop Cruz, while Cruz (24-7-2, 12 KOs) enters unbeaten in his last three fights.
