With an impressive record, the 25-year-old Edgar started his career with a staggering 16 consecutive KOs. However, he recently faced a six-month suspension and a $10,000 fine after attempting to bite his opponent, Roamer Alexis Angulo, during a fight at Hulu Theater in June 2022.

Jason Quigley’s biggest victory came in May 2021, when he defeated Shane Mosley Jr. in a 10-round majority decision. Quigley then went on to face then-WBO middleweight titlist Andrade, who knocked him out in the second round in November 2021. After moving up to the super middleweight division, Quigley won a shutout decision over journeyman Gabor Gorbics in Dublin, Ireland, on April 1.
The undercard of this highly anticipated event features the return of hometown heroes Reshat Mati and Adam Kownacki.
Kownacki (20-3, 15 KOs), a popular Brooklyn-based Pole, is eager to make a triumphant comeback in a 10-round bout against Joe Cusumano (21-4, 19 KOs). Having previously experienced a pair of defeats at the hands of Robert Helenius and a loss against Ali Demirezen, the 34-year-old Kownacki is determined to reclaim his previous ranking with a spectacular victory.
Reshat Mati (13-0, 7 KOs) is set to begin his 2023 campaign with an all-New York face-off against Brooklyn’s Wesley Ferrer (17-1-1, 8 KOs). Mati, who secured his first pro title in Mexico by outpointing Eduardo Rodriguez in October of 2022, is now eyeing the WBC Youth Super-Lightweight strap.
