Former world champion Miguel “El Alacrán” Berchelt is set to make a comeback in the ring against former world champion challenger Diego “El Profeta” Ruiz as the main event of Golden Boy Fight Night at the Poliforum Zamna in Mérida and will be broadcast live on DAZN and YouTube.
The co-main event will feature Mexico City’s undefeated Angel Ayala (16-0, 7 KOs) going up against former world champion Felix “El Gemelo” Alvarado (39-3, 34 KOs) in an IBF eliminator fight. Additionally, Aaron Silva (13-0, 10 KOs) of Monterrey, Mexico, is set to return to the ring in a 10-round super middleweight fight.
The DAZN broadcast will also showcase Irvin Turrubiartes (25-0-1, 15 KOs) from Monterrey in a 10-round featherweight match against Sergio Sanchez (20-1, 12 KOs) from Oaxaca, Mexico.
In the preliminary fights, Juan Ayala (12-1, 7 KOs) from Texcoco will participate in a 10-round bantamweight fight, and Bryan Anco (9-0, 8 KOs) from Guadalajara aims to continue his knockout streak in an eight-round super featherweight bout.
