Biography
Yoenli Hernández (born June 30, 1997) is a Cuban professional boxer from Camagüey, Cuba. Nicknamed “El Diablo,” Hernández stands 6-foot-2 and has competed primarily in the middleweight division.
Before turning professional, Hernández enjoyed a highly accomplished amateur career representing Cuba. He won the middleweight gold medal at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships in Belgrade and repeated the achievement at the 2023 IBA World Boxing Championships in Tashkent, becoming a two-time amateur world champion.
In May 2023, Hernández left the Cuban delegation during a stopover in Panama and later began building his professional career. After winning his first four professional bouts, he signed a promotional agreement with Dream Bigg Management in July 2024.
Hernández earned a notable unanimous-decision victory over Kyrone Davis in May 2025 before stopping Ramon De La Cruz Sena in the opening round later that year. In March 2026, he faced experienced contender Terrell Gausha for the vacant WBO-NABO middleweight title at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and won by fourth-round stoppage.
