Omari Jones

Omari Jones is an American boxer from Orlando who arrived in the professional ranks with an impressive amateur résumé. He won a silver medal at the World Championships before adding a bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics, establishing himself as one of the leading American amateurs of his generation.

Jones began boxing as a child after starting in karate, and developed into a polished, athletic boxer with excellent speed, reach and timing. His amateur experience against elite international competition gave him a strong technical foundation before he signed with Matchroom and began his professional career.

As a professional, Jones has shown that he can win in different ways. Early in his career he relied on his speed and sharp combinations to produce stoppages, but he has also demonstrated patience and discipline when fights go the distance.
