Unbeaten Orlando prospect Omari Jones (7-0, 4 KOs) headlines the second edition of Matchroom’s Project Series when he takes on experienced Mexican veteran Alan Sanchez (24-7-1, 10 KOs) on October 2 at Caribe Royale Orlando.
Jones returns after a unanimous decision win over Diego Zuniga in May, while Sanchez is looking to bounce back from a third-round TKO loss to Nicklaus Flaz. The matchup gives the undefeated Jones another opportunity to build his résumé against a fighter with considerably more professional experience.
The event follows the inaugural Project Series card in August, which saw unbeaten lightweight Corey Marksman defeat Christian Barreto by unanimous decision. Additional bouts for the October 2 card are expected to be announced.
