Melvin “Gringo” Jerusalem, born on February 22, 1994, in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon, Philippines, stands at 5 feet 2 inches tall with a reach of 62 inches. He began his professional boxing career in 2014. Jerusalem’s career highlights include winning the WBO mini-flyweight title by defeating Masataka Taniguchi via a second-round technical knockout on January 6, 2023. He successfully defended his title against Luis Castillo, making his first successful defense of the WBC straw-weight belt. However, he lost the title to Oscar Collazo on May 27, 2023, retiring from the bout at the end of the seventh round.
