Biography
Flora Pili is an unbeaten French super lightweight who built her career through a strong amateur background before establishing herself as a European-level professional. She won French Youth and Senior National titles in 2015 and 2019 and represented France in international competition, including tournaments against accomplished amateurs such as Kellie Harrington and Irma Testa.
Pili turned professional and steadily climbed the super lightweight rankings. Her biggest early breakthrough came in 2023, when she defeated Silvia Bortot by split decision to claim the European title. She later added another major title to her résumé by defeating Jelena Janicijevic by majority decision in December 2025 to win the IBO super lightweight championship.
The victory over Janicijevic significantly strengthened Pili's position in the division. She moved to No. 1 in both the WBC and IBF rankings and No. 4 with the WBA, putting her in position for the biggest opportunity of her career.
Pili enters her September 5, 2026 showdown with Katie Taylor at Croke Park in Dublin with an unbeaten 12-0 record and two knockouts, challenging for the undisputed super lightweight championship in Taylor's scheduled farewell fight.
