Desley Robinson is an Australian professional boxer competing across the light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight, and light heavyweight divisions. Known by the nicknames “Destroyer” and “Lady D,” Robinson is an orthodox fighter from Logan City, Queensland, Australia, standing 5 ft 9 in with a 70-inch reach. Since making her professional debut in June 2019, she has emerged as one of Australia’s leading female world champions.

Robinson entered professional boxing relatively late, initially taking up the sport to improve her fitness before developing into a serious contender. Her early career included steady victories over opponents such as Leah Plumpton, Trish Vaka, and Stephanie Mfongwot, but she also experienced setbacks while stepping up in competition, including losses to Millicent Agboegbulem, Lani Daniels, and Kaye Scott. Those defeats proved formative, helping Robinson refine her style and build resilience as she climbed through the domestic and regional ranks.

Her breakthrough came in 2023, when she defeated Jamie Edenden to win the Australian female middleweight title, followed by a split decision victory over Nailini Helu to capture the WBA Oceania female middleweight championship. She claimed the ANBF Australasian female super-middleweight title by stopping Trish Vaka, then captured the IBF female Inter-Continental middleweight title with a convincing win over Mapule Ngubane, positioning herself for a world title opportunity.

In December 2024, Robinson achieved the biggest victory of her career by defeating Kaye Scott via unanimous decision to win the vacant IBF female middleweight world title, avenging an earlier defeat despite reportedly fighting with a fractured foot sustained in training camp. She elevated her status further in April 2025 by defeating Chloe Chaos to retain her IBF belt while also capturing the vacant WBO female middleweight title, becoming a unified world champion.

Later in 2025, Robinson signed with Most Valuable Promotions, significantly raising her international profile. She made her promotional debut in dominant fashion, stopping Logan Holler in the second round for the first successful defense of her unified world titles, showing a more aggressive side to complement her typically durable, disciplined approach.
