Alan David Picasso Romero (born July 22, 2000) is a Mexican professional boxer competing across the bantamweight, super-bantamweight, and featherweight divisions. Nicknamed “El Rey”, he has established himself as one of Mexico’s brightest prospects and has held the WBC Silver super-bantamweight title since July 2023.
Picasso Romero made his professional debut on March 25, 2017, scoring a split decision victory over Jose Antonio Arellano Lopez. Rising quickly through Mexico’s competitive boxing circuit, he gained attention for his technical ability and sharp punching. His first major breakthrough came on July 15, 2023, when he defeated Sabelo Ngebinyana by sixth-round stoppage to claim the WBC Silver super-bantamweight championship.
Following his title win, Picasso Romero successfully defended his belt on several occasions, including a notable unanimous decision victory over Azat Hovhannisyan on August 24, 2024, on the Mayweather–Gotti III undercard. He continued his winning momentum with victories in both Mexico and the United States, further raising his international profile. On July 19, 2025, he scored a majority decision win over Kyonosuke Kameda at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, extending his unbeaten streak.
