The Ring V: Night of the Samurai streamed live on DAZN from Riyadh and brought together several unbeaten fighters stepping into major tests.

In the main event, Naoya Inoue retained his undisputed super bantamweight titles with a wide unanimous decision over Alan David Picasso. The judges scored the bout 120-108, 119-109, and 117-111.

Picasso started aggressively and remained durable throughout, but Inoue took control after the early rounds with cleaner punching and consistent body work. The fight went the full distance, marking one of Inoue’s clearest decision victories at 122 pounds, as he improved to 32-0 and handed Picasso his first professional loss.

The co-main event saw Junto Nakatani move to 32-0 with a unanimous decision win over Sebastian Hernandez in his super bantamweight debut. Hernandez became more effective from the fourth round onward, increasing his volume and working at close range, but Nakatani maintained control on the scorecards despite visible swelling late in the fight. The bout ended Nakatani’s recent knockout streak yet confirmed his successful transition to the 122-pound division.

In lightweight action, Eridson Garcia earned a split decision victory over previously unbeaten Taiga Imanaga in a competitive 10-round bout. Imanaga built early momentum with activity from the southpaw stance, but Garcia increased his output in the middle rounds and scored a decisive knockdown in the eighth. Two judges awarded Garcia the fight by scores of 96-93 and 95-94, while one scored it 95-94 for Imanaga, with the knockdown proving the difference.

Earlier on the card, Reito Tsutsumi stopped Mexico’s Leobardo Quintana in the fourth round of their super bantamweight contest. After competitive early exchanges, Tsutsumi took over with a sustained body attack before dropping Quintana with a right hook and left hand combination. Although Quintana beat the count, the referee halted the bout at approximately 1:14 of the round, moving Tsutsumi to 4-0 with three knockouts.
