Ashton Sylve

Ashton “H2O” Sylve was born on January 28, 2004, in Long Beach, California. From a young age, Sylve demonstrated exceptional boxing talent. He began training at the age of 7 and quickly ascended the ranks, becoming a 10-time USA national champion. His amateur accolades also include two International Boxing Cup victories and over 100 wins in 110 amateur bouts.

Sylve made his professional debut on October 31, 2020, against Gerardo Yescas, winning by a fourth-round TKO. Sylve’s career continued to ascend in 2022 with victories over opponents like Rodney M. Sosa on February 19, 2022, and then Ricardo Rodriguez on May 21, 2022, where he secured another TKO win. On July 9, 2022, he faced his first real challenge against veteran fighter Reyes Sánchez, winning by a dominant unanimous decision after eight rounds. On July 20, 2024, Sylve suffered his first professional loss to Lucas Bahdi, getting knocked out in the sixth round.

He trains out of Jackrabbit Boxing Gym in Long Beach, California, under the guidance of his father, Ivan Sylve, who has been instrumental in his development both personally and professionally. Sylve is deeply influenced by his family’s values. His father, Ivan, instilled principles of hard work and discipline, significantly shaping Ashton’s character. Sylve is currently signed under H2O Promotions, his own promotional company. Showing he is an entrepreneur in his own, right. Just like his contemporaries such as Amanda Serrano and Jake Paul.

Sylve employs a low guard and favors a flicker jab or a stiff jab, often followed by a powerful overhand right. He also uses left and right hooks that generate significant power from the rotation of his hips, enabling him to land impactful body shots. Sylve's touch-and-go style keeps him out of harm's range, even against tougher and more physically developed opponents. His footwork is exceptionally advanced for his age, featuring excellent pivots that help him control the center of the ring and change attack angles.
