Biography
Aloys Youmbi is a London-based cruiserweight and one of British boxing’s most explosive young talents. Trained by Ben Davison and backed by Queensberry, Youmbi has developed a reputation for his aggressive style and serious knockout power. He enjoyed a successful amateur career before turning professional in 2021.
Aloys suffered the only defeat of his professional career on debut against Michal Soczynski, but responded with a long run of victories, most of them coming inside the distance. He scored stoppages over Jiri Krejci, Erik Nazaryan, Milosav Savic and Pablo Oscar Natalio Farias before stopping David Jamieson in the third round in May 2025 to claim the vacant Commonwealth cruiserweight title. In July 2025, he stepped up against former British title challenger Ellis Zorro and earned a unanimous decision over 10 rounds to win the vacant WBC International cruiserweight title.
Known for his explosive punching and entertaining personality outside the ring, Youmbi is regarded as one of Britain’s most intriguing cruiserweight talents. With Queensberry behind him and Ben Davison in his corner, he is looking to turn his growing experience into a run toward the top of the division.
