Regis Prograis is determined to put his loss to Devin Haney behind him as he prepares for his upcoming bout against Jack Catterall this weekend in Manchester. Prograis attributes his defeat to mental lapses during his fight camp, saying distractions and a change in trainers hindered his focus.

Reflecting on his last fight, Prograis admitted, “With the Haney fight, it was a mind thing for me. I had a long camp, I changed trainers, and mentally everything that could’ve gone wrong did.” He also mentioned how he got too caught up in the pre-fight talk, letting Haney’s camp get into his head.

“Don’t talk about it, be about it!” Watch

Now focused on Catterall, Prograis feels this matchup suits him perfectly. “I think Jack Catterall’s style is made for me,” he said. At 35, Prograis knows this fight is crucial for his chances of making another run for a world title, and he’s confident he’ll get it right this time.

Can Prograis deliver on his promise when he steps into the ring this Saturday? What do you think?
