Shakur Stevenson says he has already signed his side of a proposed 144lb fight with Devin Haney.

“Stop it. My part been signed. U see who I’m wit,” Stevenson wrote, suggesting that his promotional backing is in place and that any remaining delay is not coming from his side.

Haney’s other possible route is a WBO welterweight title defense against mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis. Stevenson described the situation as a “lose-lose” choice, arguing that Haney now faces either a major showdown with him or a dangerous mandatory defense against Davis.

One unresolved issue concerns Haney’s WBO title. A 144lb catchweight sits below the welterweight limit, and Bill Haney has insisted that Devin will not vacate any championship before a complete agreement is signed.

The public exchange has made the positions clearer without confirming that the fight is finalized. Stevenson says he has signed, while the Haney camp maintains that important terms still need to be settled.
