Tyson Fury has claimed he has already signed a contract to fight Anthony Joshua. The comments came after Fury returned from retirement with a points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov in London, where Joshua was seated ringside. Following the win, Fury called out his domestic rival, though Joshua declined to enter the ring, and a face-off failed to materialize due to technical issues with the microphone.

Speaking after the fight, Fury insisted he had done his part to make the bout happen. “I’ve signed, done,” he said. “He was brought here tonight… to get the fight done. I signed months ago, I don’t know if he’s signed, and by the looks of it, he’s not gonna.”

Fury also questioned Joshua’s reaction on the night, suggesting hesitation from his rival. “If it was me, I’d have jumped in the ring… After all this time, there’s still uncertainty,” he added, making clear his frustration at the ongoing delays surrounding one of boxing’s most anticipated matchups.

Despite speculation, there appears to be no confirmed agreement in place. Fury’s team indicated no talks have been held with Wembley Stadium, while conflicting signals emerged as Netflix suggested the fight could take place in the UK this autumn.

For Fury, however, the focus remains simple. “I want three fights this year, no matter who it is,” he said, leaving the door open - but still uncertain - for a long-awaited clash with Joshua.
