Keyshawn Davis says he wants to fight three more times in 2025 after quickly blowing away all his recent opponents. Fresh off a fourth-round knockout of Denys Berinchyk, the newly crowned WBO lightweight champion has named Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz as his No.1 target, claiming their fan-friendly styles would make them a big box-office draw in Las Vegas.
While Keyshawn insists he wants a "tough Mexican fighter," many believe Pitbull Cruz's 5'4" stature pales in comparison to Davis' 5'9" frame. Some also point out that Davis has largely faced smaller, less threatening opposition - perhaps a strategy by his promoter to protect the undefeated 25-year-old. If Davis genuinely wanted to test himself, he’d be chasing names like Andy Cruz (who beat him four times in the amateurs), Jaron Ennis, or even a move up to higher weight classes where he’d be forced to rely on more than just a physical advantage.

When it comes to booking three more fights this year, the reality might not match Davis' ambition. Top Rank’s broadcast schedule and financial resources make it tricky to secure that many headlining slots, especially for a fighter who acknowledges he’s focused on "business" first. Still, there's no denying Davis' knockout power and confidence have turned heads; if he can land a matchup with Pitbull Cruz - or one of the other big names at 135 - he’d get a chance to show there’s more to him than just easy victories over undersized foes.
Until then, Davis continues to brand himself as "The Businessman," seizing on the easiest paths to big paydays.
