The Copper Box Arena in London roared from the first bell as a packed Saturday-night crowd gathered to watch a heavyweight grudge rematch, a pair of middleweight title eliminators and a string of rising prospects looking to protect unbeaten records. Less than five months after a controversial split decision in Riyadh, every seat was taken to see whether the young puncher could repeat, whether the wily veteran could turn the tables and which contenders would grab domestic belts on a stacked Matchroom card.
David Allen got his revenge in the main event, dropping Johnny Fisher twice in round 5 and forcing Fisher’s corner to throw in the towel at the bell. The older man used feints and body work to slow Fisher, then scored with an overhand right and a left hook that sent the champion down twice before the stoppage ended Fisher’s WBA Intercontinental reign.

George Liddard impressed in the co-feature, flooring Aaron Sutton in the first, second and fifth before Sutton’s corner waved it off at 2:20 of round 5. The result gives Liddard the Commonwealth Silver strap and moves him into pole position for a shot at the British middleweight title.
Kieron Conway retained his Commonwealth belt and collected the vacant British middleweight crown by overwhelming Gerome Warburton with fast combinations, prompting Warburton’s corner to surrender at 1:26 of round 4.
Jimmy Sains went ten rounds for the first time, out-boxing Gideon Onyenani for a wide unanimous decision (100-90, 98-92, 100-91) to capture the vacant Southern Area middleweight title.
On the prelims, John Hedges claimed the vacant English cruiserweight belt with a 99-92, 97-93, 98-92 win over Nathan Quarless; Taylor Bevan blasted out Juan Cruz Cacheiro in round 2; Emmanuel Buttigieg halted Novak Radulovic in round 3; and Shannon Ryan edged Fara El Bousairi 77-74 on points.
