Former WBO champion Parker enters the contest determined to prove that he is entering his prime rather than leaving it behind. “For me, this is all or nothing,” Parker said. “I’m not really thinking about losing this fight, I’m going into this fight to win. Credit to Wardley for taking this fight, but it’s the wrong time to take this fight because I’m going to smash him.” Confident and focused, Parker added that he plans to show “a different level” on Saturday night.

Wardley carries his trademark calm into what he calls the biggest fight of his career. The Ipswich fighter, who brings the interim WBA title into the ring, dismissed doubts about his readiness. “It’s a massive night for both of us,” he said. *“Every time I step up, people say it’s a step too far — until I come through and win. Saturday will be no different.”

Responding to those who focus on his knockout power, Wardley emphasized that his success comes from more than strength. “It takes practice, timing, precision,” he said. “Just because my record is full of highlight-reel knockouts doesn’t mean that’s all there is. There’s a lot more my team and others need to prepare for.”
