A new date has been given to the anticipated fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Originally set for July 20, the bout will still take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas but on 15th of November.

The rescheduling comes after the 57-year-old Tyson fell ill during a flight in May and had to be taken to the hospital, prompting the initial postponement. This also led to rumors that the rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano might be moved to Frankfurt, Germany. Despite concerns about Tyson's health and the significant age difference between him and the 30-year-younger Paul, the fight will now proceed four months later.

Paul's Most Valuable Promotions released a statement addressing the postponement:

"The upcoming highly anticipated boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will unfortunately be postponed. During a follow-up consultation on Thursday with medical professionals on his recent ulcer flare-up, the recommendation is for Mike Tyson to do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations."

The statement continued:

"Both Mike and Jake are in agreement that it is only fair to ensure that both athletes have equal training time to prepare for this important match and are able to compete at the highest level."

The fight remains a point of significant interest and controversy, drawing attention to Tyson's age and health against Paul's youth and recent activity in the ring. Fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting the showdown, now set for mid-November.
