American heavyweight Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller has reportedly become the leading candidate to face Derek Chisora in what is expected to be the British veteran’s 50th and possibly final fight, scheduled for December 13 in Manchester.
Chisora was last seen in February defeating Otto Wallin, a bout billed as his “Last Dance” in Britain. That farewell, however, has proven premature, as the Londoner prepares for one more night under the lights. His team has spent recent weeks weighing opponents, including China’s Zhilei Zhang, before shifting focus to the outspoken New Yorker.

Zhang’s tricky southpaw style and counterpunching approach were seen as ill-suited for the type of high-tempo slugfest Chisora prefers to deliver. Miller, by contrast, fits the mold perfectly: brash, powerful, and confrontational both inside and outside the ring.
The 37-year-old Miller remains one of boxing’s most polarizing figures. His failed drug tests derailed a 2019 title shot against Anthony Joshua, but his return to the sport has kept him in the headlines. In recent outings, Miller went the distance with Andy Ruiz Jr. in a draw and was stopped by Daniel Dubois.
