The next generation of the Pacquiao boxing legacy will begin on November 29, when Jimuel Pacquiao, eldest son of Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao, makes his professional debut at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.
Jimuel, 24, will face Brendan Lally in a four-round bout featuring two fighters entering the professional ranks for the first time. Trained by Marvin Somodio at Los Angeles’ famed Wild Card Boxing Gym, Jimuel looks to make an early statement in his father’s promotional banner. Lally, fighting out of Chicago, is a late starter in the sport but rose quickly through the U.S. college boxing scene, winning a national championship.
The card’s main event will feature featherweight sluggers Lorenzo Parra and Elijah Pierce in a scheduled 12-round bout. Supporting action includes Luis Arias (22-5, 11 KOs) taking on unbeaten Lazaro Lorenzana (17-0, 12 KOs) in a middleweight clash, while Mexico’s Jose Russell Regalado (16-1, 10 KOs) makes his U.S. debut against Saleto Henderson (9-4) in flyweight competition.
Also set for the night are cruiserweight Rogelio Romero (4-0, 4 KOs) against an opponent to be confirmed, and rising prospects Terry Washington (5-0, 5 KOs) and Alexis Alvarado (8-1-1, 5 KOs) in separate undercard bouts. Several preliminary matchups will feature regional talent, including featherweights Javier Zamarron (10-0, 5 KOs) and Alejandro Meniano (7-0, 4 KOs) in a battle of unbeatens.
