Fight night in Miami brought together boxing’s old guard and its modern spectacle, as Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul headlined a stacked card that mixed elite names, crossover bouts, and world title fights. The arena was loud, the buildup was long, and the contrast in styles and experience made the main event one of the most talked-about matchups of the year before a punch was thrown.

Anthony Joshua stopped Jake Paul in the sixth round after steadily breaking him down with pressure and body work. Joshua stayed calm early, controlling distance and letting Paul circle and clinch, but the damage began to add up as the rounds passed. By the middle rounds, Joshua was landing cleanly and forcing exchanges, and once Paul was trapped along the ropes taking unanswered shots, the referee stepped in to end it.

Alycia Baumgardner defended her IBF and WBO titles with a unanimous decision over Elhem Mekhaled in a controlled but low-energy fight. Baumgardner relied on steady output and movement, dropping Mekhaled in the seventh round and rarely allowing her challenger to take risks. Mekhaled stayed cautious throughout, and the scorecards reflected Baumgardner’s consistent control.

Anderson Silva delivered a short, sharp finish against Tyron Woodley, stopping him in the second round. Silva caught Woodley with a clean uppercut that sent him down before closing the show moments later. The bout leaned on familiarity rather than stakes, but Silva looked sharp and composed throughout the brief contest.

Caroline Dubois retained her WBC lightweight title with a wide unanimous decision over Camilla Panatta, though the fight was more competitive than the scores suggested. Dubois showed clear speed advantages and scored a knockdown in the sixth round, but Panatta stayed active and pressed forward, making several rounds uncomfortable despite falling behind on the cards.

Opening the main card, Jahmal Harvey stayed unbeaten with a six-round unanimous decision over Kevin Cervantes. Harvey scored an early knockdown and controlled the action with timing and clean punching, never allowing Cervantes to settle into the fight as he comfortably closed out the win.
