European middleweight champion Tyler Denny is all set to defend his title against Felix Cash this Saturday. He is keenly aware of the formidable version of Cash who triumphed over Denzel Bentley back in 2021. Despite Cash’s recent inactivity, Denny remains vigilant about the threat he poses.
“I have no idea where he’s been or what he’s been doing, but that’s his problem. I’m training for the Felix who beat Denzel Bentley because that was him at his peak. If he shows up like he did against Magomed Madiev, he’s in for a beating. So, I’m getting ready for the Bentley version of him.”

Over the past two years, Denny has emerged as one of British boxing’s most improved fighters. His ascent began with a win over River Wilson-Bent for the English middleweight title and hit a high note with his European title victory against Matteo Signani in November 2023. During this period, he also bested undefeated challengers Brad Pauls and Bradley Rae, and outclassed Macaulay McGowan.
On the flip side, Cash has only fought eight rounds in the last two years and didn’t look impressive in his December 2022 win over Celso Neves. Since then, Cash has switched trainers from Tony Sims to Adam Booth. This change, combined with his inactivity, adds an element of unpredictability for Denny. He speculates that Cash might aim for an early knockout, considering his recent lack of ring time.
